Look, we've all had moments where we question whether we're actually living in base reality or just some advanced alien's Sims game. But lately, the evidence is piling up that someone definitely turned on the "chaos mode" cheat code. Take security cameras, for instance. These devices were supposed to make us feel safer, more secure. Instead, they've become our primary source of existential dread. Ring cameras are catching delivery people who seem to have skipped several crucial steps in the "how to be human" tutorial. We're talking movements that don't quite sync with physics, behaviors that suggest they learned about Earth culture exclusively from gas station energy drink commercials. When Technology Reveals Too MuchThe problem with surveillance technology is that it's too good at its job. We wanted to see who was stealing our packages. Instead, we got front-row seats to moments that make you go "wait, can we rewind that?" followed immediately by "actually, maybe let's not." Security footage keeps capturing people doing things that shouldn't be physically possible, or at minimum, shouldn't be happening at 3 AM outside a Walgreens. The Simulation Is Getting LazyHere's the thing: if we are in a simulation, the programmers are clearly phoning it in. These glitches are getting more obvious. It's like they fired half the QA team and the remaining developers are just throwing in random NPCs without proper behavior scripts. Either that, or reality is just naturally this weird and we're only now documenting it properly. Honestly, we're not sure which explanation is more comforting. At least if it's a simulation, maybe someone will eventually patch it. If this is just how things are? Well, buckle up, folks. |
