A Southwest airlines airplane had an issue with it's landing gear and it caught fire on landing, glad all was well and nobody was hurt.

Not sure what could have happened here really, but why the hell does an airport have a moat? I mean really, aren't you just asking for an accident by some drunk pilot at some point?

We have all, well most of us have been on the plane and seen these stupid signs telling you how to evacuate the plane in case of emergency, and normally the pictures are so dumb, ok well so is this one.

An amazing picture of an airplane takeoff with either a time lapse camera or an extremely slow shutter speed to show the light contrails of the aircraft. You can even see the red/green lights from the wings as the plane ascends into the night sky.

I have personally always wanted to try this and wondered what a GPS meant for a car would do in an Airplane, well here is a cool video of a Garmin GPS in an airplane.
